Consultation paper on the evaluation of organisational performance frameworks

We are pleased to make available a report analyzing five management frameworks to identify overlapping areas and idiosyncrasies.

The frameworks or models included in the analysis are:

• National Quality Institute (NQI) Canadian Quality Criteria for the Public Sector;
• Modern Comptrollership Framework (including the Review, Internal Audit and Evaluation Policies);
• Risk Management Framework;
• Framework for Good Human Resources Management in the Public Service;
• Public Service Excellence Model (PSEM) developed by Colin Talbot.

The research found that each model presents valuable features and that rapprochement of these models is possible.
