Public consultation on the name of the unified city of the Outaouais

With the permission of the Transition Committee Outaouais, Circum Network broadcasts today its report entitled Sondage sur les réactions des résidants de la zone urbaine de l'Outaouais à des suggestions de noms pour la nouvelle ville. This report presents the implementation and the results of a consultation among residents of the urban portion of the Outaouais via a telephone survey. The preference of survey participants for the names of one of the existing cities as opposed to an entirely new name, the support collected by each of the six names offered in the consultation, the images associated with each name, are among the themes discussed.
