Public consultation on Canadian passports, 2000

In the spring of 2000, the Canadian Passport Office was gearing to introduce various changes in its passport offering and in the process to obtain a passport. These changes aimed essentially at improving upon passport security while maintaining good value for money for the passport client. Circum Network Inc. was asked to conduct a public consultation in the form of a telephone survey to gauge the positions of Canadians on a long series of policy and service delivery issues. The consultation report was based on more than 1,500 interviews which paint a very interesting portrait of public opinion.
