ISA-IEPA Marketing Study Direct Client Input

The Canadian Intellectual Property Office is considering the opportunity of offering an international search service and a pre-examination service for international patent requests. Following the preparation of a profile of users of existing European pre-examination services, Circum Network was asked to secure direct input from a sample of PCT clients. Ten patent agents and ten final PCT clients were interviewed to determine the fundamental characteristics of excellent ISA/IPEA service and to clarify the issue of price-elasticity of the PCT demand.
