A new, faster CallWeb
Circum Network Inc. announces a new version of CallWeb, its Web-survey, CATI and IVR data collection system. This version triples the effective speed of the on-line survey software product. This performance boost is achieved by running CallWeb as an always-available service instead of as a stateless Web application. For existing clients, installation of this new version is a five-minute taks. CallWeb's automated software updates take over the maintenance of the system thereafter.
With this new version of CallWeb, in the context of a Web survey, a humble $2,000 Web server can handle something like 225 concurrent connections with average response times of 1 second. This is quite impressive!
